Sensory Play Fun at Airfield Farm Harvest Festival with Discovery Playtime

This Autumn, Discovery Playtime was delighted to return to Airfield Farm as part of their Harvest Festival program! Families joined us for a special farm-themed sensory play experience filled with creativity, laughter, and hands-A fun. Even with the rainy weather, children and parents embraced the spirit of play across seven exciting sessions - making it another unforgettable event.

A Farm Themed Sensory Adventure

Our interactive sensory play farm area was designed to spark imagination and encourage children to learn through play.

Building & Imagination
Kids created barns, forts, and gates with magnetic tiles, wooden farm figures, and giant wooden pieces.

Messy Play Farm
Bark, hay, and sensory trays gave children the chance to dig in and explore textures while having fun.

Playdough Creations
Homemade playdough combined with sensory materials let children design their own farm-inspired creations.

Hopper Adventures
Giant wooden gates set the stage for hopping games that built balance, coordination, and confidence.
